CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Adtalem Global Education (NYSE: ATGE), a nation’s leader in post-secondary education and a leading healthcare educator, has appointed Blake Simpson as senior vice president, sustainability and chief communications officer, effective December 5 appointed. In this newly created position, Simpson will lead global corporate communications, including investor, government and media relations, and sustainability. She will be responsible for developing and executing Adtalem’s corporate brand and communications strategy, and bringing Adtalem’s compelling story to customers, shareholders, employees and communities worldwide.

Simpson has built and grown some of the world’s best-known brands by harnessing the power of responsible storytelling and creating consistent and compelling inside-out narratives. With more than 20 years of experience, she has deep-rooted expertise in supporting large-scale corporate strategies, leaders, employees, consumers and communities through impactful strategic communications. Most recently, Simpson was Senior Vice President, Communications, Impact, Events, Access and Creative at Under Armour, Inc. Simpson played a key role in strengthening Under Armor’s reputation and enhancing the category’s global communications and events strategy to deliver a consistent and… ensure compelling messaging delivery across earned and owned channels and help drive revenue. Prior to Under Armour, Simpson was vice president of public affairs and communications at CKE Restaurants, Inc., where she led the teams responsible for developing and managing brand marketing. corporate, internal and employee communications; crisis and change management communication; and social media strategy. Her previous work includes various leadership positions in strategic communications for brands such as Levi Strauss & Co., Yahoo and NBC News. Simpson is also a founding member of CHIEF, a TEDx speaker, and was inducted into PRWeek’s 2021 Hall of Femme.
