Board & Brush in downtown Panama City offers DIY crafts, workshops

PANAMA CITY – You can get artistic and perfect your craft by making DIY wood projects at a downtown creative studio.

Board & Brush offers people the opportunity to create personal projects through wood art and floor mats. Heather Risinger and Courtney Dickerson, co-owners and trainers at the franchise locations, host craft workshops each week in hopes of empowering their visitors to create anything and everything.

Board & Brush is located on Harrison Ave. 452 in downtown Panama City and offers do-it-yourself classes on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The workshops cost $68 per person, pre-registration is required and must be booked online at least 48 hours in advance.

The owners began their journey by making crafts shortly after Hurricane Michael hit in 2018. They collected wood in the city from trees felled by the storm, turned them into wooden creations and sold them in the local community.
