CANTON—How many can say that they had a project on their “to-do list” but didn’t have the time or knowledge to get the job done?
If you’ve experienced this occasionally, or perhaps multiple times, Chris Myers, of Myers Remodeling and Handyman Services, is ready to help.

When he graduated from Avon High in 1999, he said he gained a lot of experience building and renovating during his school years: “I started out building siding and windows. Then I moved to start building additions and remodels. I could always find a way to make a space work and be used.”
He said he’s always thinking about new ideas: “Always think outside the box. I have always tried to learn from all my experiences.”

Myers went back to school to earn his teaching degree and still strives to achieve that goal.
In addition, owning a business and being a community leader in more ways than one was also a dream: “I felt that Canton needed a handyman living in a small town; one that Grandma and Grandpa could call to fix the toilet seat or clear the leaves from their garden.”

With, he said, a handyman who is very professional and can handle larger jobs, “I think Canton is a community that needs some local reach in this trade. In these times we need someone who wants the community to thrive, to help others and make things affordable. I want to be honest with my customers and give them the best support and customer service. I want to be able to give a little back to the community my children have come to love.”
