The first season of Get organized with The Home Edit, which first premiered on Netflix in Fall 2020, inspired millions of viewers to take control of their clutter. And it’s not difficult to understand why! Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, owners of home organization service The edit start page, are equal parts fun and fabulous. Their knack for beautiful yet highly functional storage has garnered them book and product offerings, a TV show, a roster of celebrity clients, and of course, a huge following of organization-loving fans. So what’s next for Shearer and Teplin? Well, for starters, season 2 of Get organized with The Home Edit is finally here! We spoke to the ladies behind it The home edit to find out what to expect from the current season. Here’s everything we know so far:

When will season 2 air?

The second season of Get organized with The Home Edit will be broadcast Netflix on April 1, 2022. The dynamic duo behind The Home Edit first announced the news on their shared Instagram in late February.

Who will appear in season 2 of the show?

The first season featured a slew of A-list clients, including Khloe Kardashian, Neil Patrick Harris, Eva Longoria, Reese Witherspoon (who is also the show’s executive producer), and more. Season two follows with appearances from Drew Barrymore, Chris Pratt, Katherine Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Kelsea Ballerini, Winnie Harlow, Danielle Brooks, Tyler Hubbard and Topper Guild.

What will Season 2 include?

As in Season 1, each episode will feature one celebrity client and one non-celebrity client, though Teplin narrates house beautiful that it was precisely the smallest customers who presented the greatest challenges this season. “Ryland’s room was challenging on so many levels,” says Teplin, referring to eight-year-old Ryland Carrasco-Saltzman’s messy bedroom in Episode 2. “Yeah, I’m not trying to disappoint the eight-year-old,” laughs Shearer. Although you’ll have to watch the episode to see how the space unfolded, we can tell you that The home edit Ladies didn’t disappoint (as if they ever could!).

Teplin and Shearer also talked about the differences between seasons one and two, namely a difference in the Type of spaces to organize. “We did a lot of creative studios, slashes, and offices this second season,” says Teplin. “I think that’s partly a result of the pandemic and the situation we’re all living in.” Shearer adds, “Whether it was an office, a studio, or even a garage, everything had to work on so many different levels in a way that that it definitely felt different. Everything has to be done from home now.”

This season will also give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Shearer and Teplin’s personal lives as they navigate their newfound fame, a booming business, motherhood and more.
